The 80/20 principle
The Pareto principle, which states that 80 percent of results arise from 20 percent of acts or efforts, is also known as the 80/20 principle.
This signifies that:
- A company's revenue is generated by 20% of its consumers, who account for 80% of its revenue.
- 80% of a company's output is generated by 20% of its workforce.
Pareto's principle maintains time management at the forefront by allowing you to focus on the most critical tasks rather than wasting time on chores that won't make a difference.
For example, it is preferable to read 10 articles in an hour (glancing over for a little more than 5 minutes) and choose two finest ones in the next hour than to spend two hours reading three articles in depth.
It may be challenging at first, but after you're acclimated to it, you'll notice an increase in productivity and be able to better manage time and effort.
