Myth: You don't require anyone's help to succeed.

Such wishful thinking has become fiction. There are bold claims made by young professionals in their early careers on this subject. "I don't need anyone's help to succeed," well, good luck with that.
When we are unable to obtain the necessary support from our close family or friends, we are driven into resentfully believing that we can do it all on our own. The truth is that we all need someone or a group of individuals to assist us on our trip. However, you must accept responsibility for your actions. The obligation is to position oneself to form strategic alliances with people in your field or career.
Find successful entrepreneurs to connect with if you are an entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur. Find and connect with a mentor. Use social media correctly to connect with individuals who share your interests. LinkedIn is an excellent place to begin.
Every successful person you see has a mentor or someone they look up to. Some of them even have mastermind groups to help each other achieve even greater success. If you think you don't need anyone, you're probably being resentful rather than rational. You probably don't need someone in particular to succeed, but you certainly require someone. In other words, if someone can't or won't perform a certain role in your life, you may find someone else to take their place.
