You must write down all of your Goals

No, you don't, because there hasn't been any genuine research to back this up, only overblown theories. However, this advice has advantages as well, because writing down your goal allows you to properly examine it and emotionally relate to it. You can also organise it by breaking it down into smaller sections.

You can reach some outlandish ambitions, but the most essential thing is to take action. Too many people get caught up in the idea that they must produce something extraordinary and then spend their entire lives attempting to become the next Big B.

You don't even have to come up with an original idea. Instead of reinventing the wheel, you could always make a mod for an already-existing app.
If you set down some goals that don't get accomplished because they were "too ambitious," go back to the beginning and re-evaluate.
