Everyone is capable of being motivated in the same way
The illusion that we are all motivated in the same way applies to companies, workplaces, and even families. We've
all heard of businesses that try to encourage their staff in the same way that parents try to motivate their
children.
Let's face it: not everyone responds the same way to the same motivating approaches. People are distinct
individuals. Some people are driven by money or prizes, whereas others are motivated when they are given greater
tasks or a higher position of authority in the corporation.
It is critical to recognise that, just as each person is unique, so is each person's approach to motivation. What
works for one individual may not work for everyone else. Don't be disheartened if what works for a friend or
colleague doesn't work for you. Remember that you are one-of-a-kind.
