Take some Time Reflect Yourself
Reflection entails thoughtful consideration. The most
beneficial reflection involves the focused evaluation
and analysis of ideas and actions for the purpose of
learning.
Reflection allows the brain to pause in the midst of
chaos to untangle and filter through observations and
experiences, examine numerous possible interpretations,
and generate meaning. This meaning becomes knowledge,
which can then be used to shape future attitudes and
actions.
Reflecting can be done in a variety of methods (including journaling) and is tailored to the individual reflecting, but the main thing is to look over your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to evaluate where you met your standards, where you fell short, and where you can improve.
You might also examine your standards to see if they are appropriate for you to hold yourself to. You can try journaling, chanting aloud, or simply sitting quietly and thinking, whatever helps you reflect on yourself.
